Accommodation

Please adhere to the occupancy rules of each Pod.

Arrival/Departure

Your accommodation will be ready by 4pm on the day of arrival. We are located off the farm drive, there is limited external lighting on site after 10pm, because of this, we recommend for all arrivals to try and arrive before 10pm all year round. We ask you to be aware of your Pod name beforehand. Every Pod has their own unique name signed clearly on the back of the Pod at the top on a wooden engraved signage. Your accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Key Access

Keys will be in the accommodation door. We are usually around the farm, when checking out please leave keys in the door.

Hot Tub

People with heart disease, high or low blood pressure, any serious illness or who are pregnant, should not use the Hot Tub without consulting their doctor first.

People with skin, ear, genital or other body infections should not use the Hot Tub to avoid spreading infection.

Do not immerse your head in the water as it increases the risk of infection (and you could drown).

Do not use electrical appliances near the water to avoid electric shocks.

Please be careful when entering and exiting the Hot Tub – the steps can be wet.

Due to Health and Safety please do not excessively be under the influence of alcohol when entering/exiting or sitting in the Hot Tub.

We have a zero drug policy. Any users found in possession of drugs or attempting to consume drugs will be asked to leave the Hot Tub premises immediately. No refunds will be given.

Keeping the cover on not only keeps the Hot Tub clean preventing debris, but it also acts as an insulator.

Please bring your own towels for use with the Hot Tub.

We encourage guests to shower with their costumes on before using the Hot Tub. This will help to remove detergents, cosmetics and lotions from the body, helping the water to stay clean.

Accidents happen so we provide you with plastic glasses for use around the Hot Tub.

The Hot Tub is designed for a maximum of 4 please adhere to the rules.

Pets (Moel Y Gest Pod)

One well behaved dog is welcome. The Pod must be left clean and tidy particularly in relation to dog hair. Your dog must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Parking

There is a designated parking area – a short distance from the Pods. Cars are strictly not allowed beyond the gravel parking area. We accept no responsibility for personal possessions either in or around the Pod or in cars parked in the area.

Noise

We want all our guests to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay with us. To remain tranquil, and so not to disturb the farm animals, wildlife and other guests. We ask you to be conscious of how much noise you are making around the firepit at night. To let guests enjoy the sunset and some tranquil star gazing.

Candles

Due to high fire risk with a wooden structure and our woodland, the use of fireworks, sparklers and Chinese Lanterns are not permitted across the entire site, at any time.

Logs/Firepit

Logs can be purchased on site. Please do not use your own sourced/bought wood.

Breakages/Damages

Please leave the accommodation tidy. If anything gets broken, please let us know. Anything damaged, we reserve the right to request payment. Guests will be charged for any item(s) that are removed or lost from the accommodation.

Smoking/Vaping

Smoking/vaping is not permitted in the Pods or outside on the decking area.

Recycling/Bins

We believe in recycling – please empty the recycling bin and rubbish and transfer to the necessary bin at the entrance when departing.

Extreme Weather

We hold no responsibility for guests who are unable to attend due to extreme weather or traffic conditions. You will lose your full payment. If we make the decision to cancel your stay for safety reasons due to extreme weather (snow or high winds) we will offer you an alternative date.

Icy Conditions

If the forecast predicts very cold and icy conditions being minus temperatures, we will make a decision to cancel your booking due to exterior boiler safety/damage as a precaution.

Safety

Parents are responsible for their children and children must be supervised at all times.

We are located on a working farm and access to the farm or the fields is prohibited for safety reasons unless accompanied by the owners. For your own safety, please do not climb on the dry-stone walls or allow children to play on them. Traditional dry-stone walls can be found across Snowdonia and are made from unsecured stone.

This is a rural area and depending on when you stay there may, on occasion, be farm machinery running (e.g. during silage making, tractor and trailer movement), ‘farmyard smells’ (muck-spreading) in the neighbouring fields and the odd sheep bleating, cow mooing or dog barking!
